The War Room
BE A MAN OF GOD
A spiritual battle is raging: for our hearts, our lives, our families. It presses in, seeking to prevent us from being the men God has called us to be. We must fight back. But we can’t fight alone. We need other men in our corner to encourage us, exhort us, to fight with us. We need a place where we can walk alongside each other in the upward call of God. We need a WAR ROOM.
WHO:
All men 18 years and older.
WHEN:
Every Tuesday, 6:30 – 8 am (Doors open at 6 am for prayer). Kickoff on September 9th.
WHERE:
Applewood Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall.

Purity
Men’s Purity Group
Led by Brad Herman Jr.
Wednesdays at 6:00 AM
Applewood Baptist Church – Education Building
11225 W. 32nd Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO 80033
(North side of 32nd Ave., across from the Worship Center)- - - - - - - - - - -
Join us as we chase Jesus and pursue accountability, freedom, and brotherhood within the body of believers. Together, we commit to exercising self-control and restraint in the midst of a sexually perverse culture, relying not on our own strength, but on Christ.
This group utilizes trusted biblical resources including the Conquerors Series, Warpath, SAA, The Samson Society, and—above all—the Word of God.
Our name comes from Romans 8:37, which declares that we are “more than conquerors” through Him who loved us. The Greek word Hypernikōmen means to overwhelmingly conquer, to gain a surpassing victory, or to be more than a victor. This is not a passive calling.
We are not merely fighting to survive temptation—we are called to overcome it decisively. The battle is real, and the fight may leave us bruised and tested, but the victory is certain—not by our own might, but through the strength, guidance, and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
